Rafał Dembe

Rafał Dembe – activist in the field of diversity and inclusion of the LGBT + community in the workplace and advocate of corporate social responsibility. Professionally associated with international financial institutions, where he manages the area of business performance. Currently Director of Strategy and Business Support at Santander Bank. As a volunteer, he has been involved in initiatives related to human rights, diversity and participation for several years. He coordinated projects in this area, for the World Bank and the Council of Europe, was involved in local politics in Warsaw, he is a member of the Society of Polish Economists and Advisory Board member at Open for Business. He chaired the rainbow employee-led network at NatWest Group in Poland, currently leading similar network at Santander Bank. Supports cooperation between companies in the creation and development of employee networks working for the LGBT + community. Author of articles and public speeches. Featured as OUTstanding LGBT+ Future Leader Role Model in 2022, winner of Polish Diversity Award 2023. Uses he / his pronouns.
