With a city population of 339,053 as of December 2021 and an urban agglomeration with more than 470,000 inhabitants, Bydgoszcz is the eighth-largest city in Poland. The city boasts a diverse architectural heritage, featuring a blend of Gothic, Neo-Gothic, Neo-Baroque, Neoclassical, Modernist, and Art Nouveau styles. This mix of architectural styles has led to its affectionate nickname, “Little Berlin.”
