Writer, publicist, and author of bestselling novels: Eternal Grunwald (2010, reissue 2021), Morphine (2012), Drach (2014), The King (2016) and The Kingdom (2018). He has been honored with a number of prestigious awards, including the Polityka Passport, the Koscielski Prize, the Brücke Berlin-Preis, the Silesian Literary Laurel, the Onet Cultural Award O!Lśnienie, and the Nike Readers’ Award. The rights to his novels have been sold to more than a dozen countries. In April 2020, the premiere of The King took place in the United States. A TV series was based on the novel, which premiered on Canal+ in November 2020. He was born in Silesia, where he currently lives.
